Located on the Loyola campus in the Côtes-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough, the project of the Applied Sciences Pole aims to increase the science pavilion at Concordia University. Aiming for LEED NC Gold certification, in December 2018 the complex will host several multidisciplinary research centers, including the Center for Microscopy and Cellular Imaging, the Center for Biological Applications for Mass Spectrography and the Center for Nanoscience Research.

This open and modern research and development space will allow both the sustained growth of the establishment's research infrastructure as well as the addition of specialized laboratories for the development of activities with high commercial and industrial potential, particularly in biomedicines and bioproducts. and nanomaterials. It will also allow laboratory development projects to carry out industrial pre-production feasibility studies.

With a total area of 8700 m² spread over 4 floors and 2 basements, the mission of the "Science Hub" project will promote, among other things, the recruitment of graduate students, support the capacity of researchers to finance their research activities and consolidate infrastructure subsidies for advanced equipment.

In consortium with MSDL Architects.
